Thanks!

I'm not sure whether my hips gave out when I started running and I fell down, scooping up my granddaughter or I dove for her and my hips gave out during and after the roll.

YES! *** - time for another dose. My wife has me on this grape juice - fruit pectin concoction and my daughter has me on a ***. Been about two weeks now, neither seems to be working.

The Doctor (a DO) won't give me any more steroids for another 6 months. I can no longer take NSAIDs because they were overloading my one remaining kidney.

So, I have an appointment with a hip(s) replacement surgeon next week.

I know, I'm a mess.

It's hell getting old.

However, my mind is still - is still - where were we -

Hang in there buddy!

Edit: I'll admit, I tried the *** stuff earlier this year for my knees and ankles. Like you, I shouldn't be taking the NSAIDs anymore. I was taking them 3 to 4 times a week. I'm doing much better now, only having to take NSAIDs 3 times so far this year. For my problem, diet and lifestyle changes did the most good. I didn't feel any change in Inflammation with the ***. I was hoping they would work for your hip.

Yep, it's odd how certain learned traits stick with you and kick in when you need them. The only difference is, this time I was carrying a two year old, not a rifle.

There are times when I think a two year old would be a more effective weapon than a rifle.

Was 100% not a low pressure issue as I check minimal once a month and they were all at proper psi, maybe had to add air once or twice a year at most.

Literally had last checked psi right before driving it.

Glad you are OK.

Is there a chance you ran over something that put a gash in the tire?

As far as breaking lose from my grip and sprinting, I reckon her workouts every Saturday morning at the "Little Gym" are showing results -

That's what I'm thinking.

I may have hit something on the freeway the night before and it weakened the sidewall.

29 psi shouldn't be low enough to cause a tire to fail (usually).

Oh that's easy. "Have those pants always been that tight on you?" Should be good for an uncomfortable ride, and a week or two as well. Also expect it to come up seemingly randomly several months / years later.

If the light actually came on at 29 and not 24 or 22 or whatever it felt like that day.

Lately I have found that "you know you are going 10mph under the speed limit and you don't need to brake a 1/4 mile back from green lights" is incredibly effective at creating an uncomfortable ride.
