Damn man, I feel bad for you. At work, I'm the cold-blooded staff in the department. 90% of staff doesn't wanna mess w me. (not joking here) Maybe cuz I look angry (just sleepy) and quiet (just listening music on airpod), so most staffs are scary to come by. But tbh I prob am cold-blooded in my department. I think excluding my supervisor, I've made few staff cry for not doing the work correctly.

This is my office almost all the time. I'm never in charge, but it's nearly impossible to find a manager in the office. Especially on Friday.

We are almost all managers or execs in my office. Funny, there isn't anyone to manage except data.

Every other Friday my boss is here, cuz she work rotational weekends. One of the supervisor should be here... but it's a summer, so he's rarely here at work. Most of the time, he's gone hiking or camping.

Strangely enough this is the first day this week we have had another manager in the plant. I have been the EH&S, HR, Quality, Production and Maintenance manager for 12 to 14 hours a day since Monday. Today I am just EH&S, HR and Quality and should only have to be here 10 hours.

On an unrelated note if you are looking to buy a new pickup truck soon please check the date of manufacture closely.

Must be nice... Here managers and normal employees alike that do show up on Friday start disappearing around noon. If you're here past 4 or 5... You must be silly. (I'm silly most days, apparently)

Just this week. Normally just 8 or 9. Even then people think I don't work at all.

Today is the last day of my two week staycation. Took way longer than I had expected to drop the Camry engine and I'm stuck waiting for parts.

Has been a good experience building exercise. Haven't broken anything, made friends with a recommended machinist, and learned about an issue with threads pulling out of the block on removing the exhaust side head bolts.

Valve train is in better shape than I expected. Gaps are a bit tight in a couple spots but will easily last for another year. Timing chain and tensioner are golden.

I have a game plan for the coming months and disassembly will be much easier the next time around.

Well... Considering how often you're on here...

I have been here and Jalopnik. I also made a surprisingly popular post on their restaurant blog about beer that's I've had to check every couple of minutes.

Hell, It's Friday morning AND I'M IN CHARGE …..

mrs humfrz went to the hair dresser for a long (2 hour) appointment (read expensive).

The pre-teen granddaughters are watching a pay for view movie, so they can't be bothered to watch the toddler …

The toddler won't pay much attention to me and keeps getting into stuff. I failed at the potty training session …. she didn't want to sit on her little one .. she wanted to sit on the "big" potty. Nothing happened on either one except a bunch of grunts and grins....

BUT, I'M IN CHARGE! …..

So I follow a guy on Instagram who basically goes out there on weekends to take photos of sports cars driving through 9/35-ish. He's pretty well-connected at this point. So he was saying yesterday somebody accidentally dropped like 70 gallons of diesel all along 9 from Saratoga to 35. maybe it was just the lane going up?
