Not sure why people would even be surprised. It has been a tv and movie trope for just about every stoner show or film ever made for years now.

I get that, but at the very least acknowledge the problem somewhere. Something like "this product that you'll use in all kinds of environments every day has the slight issue of not working in temperatures reaching below 50 degrees".

Which rules out use in about 45 States and all of Canada.

I still fail to see any technical reason why LEDs would not work in those temperatures. We have far, far, far colder temperatures here and I have never yet come across any LEDs that would not work.

So it's not just me. It's ridiculous that LEDs for a car dome light don't work in under 50 degree weather. Absolutely bonkers ridiculous. And I can't even get a refund because I'm outside the 30 day return window (which took place in September/October when it wasn't cold, lol). Anywho I didn't really want to rant on this but it's really stupid.

You could always go back to the stock dome light. Just a thought.

I think I've only turned on my dome light once since getting this car. Still, I can see how it would be a problem for it to not work below 50 degrees.

I have left my stock one on overnight at least twice. Worked fine. Car started no issue. Did not crash.
