Sold my Xbox One for a down payment on guitar and Ed Sheeran autographed vinyl. Gonna hold on to my Slash signed vinyl though hehe

I just need a guitar with a thin neck, good hot pickups and something well rounded. I was going to go for a Ibanez, but i'm not ready for a Floyd Rose style trem. Maybe in a year i'll buy a Ibanez.

Les Paul>Fender lol nothing beats the pups in terms of tone on a LP. A real Gibson Les Paul. When I order one in a few years, it'll be bolt on neck, Pearly gates pups all around and extra thin U neck.... /drool

Meh i actually now prefer my baja to the les paul traditional and es 135 i used to own (the lp because i was scared to screw it up so i rarely played it). Baja 60s player ahs a thun neck, if you can find one try them you might be pleasantly surprised

Build thread update, parts showed up again. Today its Camberbolts and Radium catchcan. You have all seen them so no pics

hehe i'm like that with my FR-S (Charlotte) and Sky is like that with her hair and clothes. She has like 82 dresses only seems to wear each of em once every year it seems. I'm just afraid something will break or I'll screw it up...

Remember unlike cars, guitars are cheaper and the more broken, dirty, rusty, in pieces all chipped up it is...as long as it still plays and you dont break you neck or bow it, it is more unique and gets its own sound.


I had a Fender Strat from 1980's like this one in the early 2000's It weight like 500lbs. I bent the neck (also due to age), so I put a Jackson neck on. It went from being worth like $200 (I bought it) to about $500. Least that's what a guitar tech offered me. The guitar wasn't worth more than $200 because it was a mass produced strat. I checked lol


I then bought a Schecter with a Floyd Rose... may have it somewhere. I broke that one doing pinch harmonics before I broke my wrist. Then My Floyd Rose broke.... I abused the guitar. I put it away somewhere in my house.

Now I have a Little Martin because I can carry it anywhere and it has decent sound. I also have a cheap Jackson somewhere from my wannabe shred days.... (I am bad)

Anyway, you a fan of active pickups?

I got a AVO catchcan if you want to come pick it up. I dont like the mounting location for my build so I bought the radium one. Nothing wrong with it, just a long drive to get it.
