Ends up i had one in my box 'o parts. I wasn't going to mention it, but we swapped it out before working on the Toyota. Now I have a bigger problem.

I got the clutch cable all adjusted and took it around the block. I get back and park in the driveway, and pull the 86 in for its turn. After we are done, tools put away, I start moving/parking the cars.

I get in the 911 (it goes in the garage first) and my driver door won't shut. Looks like the latch mechanism in the door crapped out. Now I get to take the door apart.

So I broke something else. I guess I'm glad it decided to quit in the driveway. That would have been challenging driving it home from somewhere with a door wanting to swing open.

Got to love 40year old cars.

Made Prime rib with my sous vide last night. Man was it good.

Time for prime rib and eggs for Christmas breakfast.

My mom turns 80 today. Happy birthday mom and Jesus.

Well, I had chores but they weren't anything compared to yours. They didn't involve livestock. Mostly it came from growing up in a highly self-sufficient Hungarian household with a mechanical engineer father and a mother who knew no fear.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's just a clean-and-lube job. Maybe bend a tab or something.
