I usually just have a slim case on my phone. Don't tend to drop them too much, and it adds to the grip.

Photos never do justice for actual snowfall. It must be really dumping.
We ended up with about 8 to 10 inches as measured by the thickness on everything outside our house. Power was also out for about 8 hours at our house and others may not have power back until tomorrow. The snow was fluffy and heavy.

Of course, in typical Georgia fashion, today it is sunny and the temps in the mid 40s so roads are already passable in most areas without any treatment or scraping.

That is a big dumping in one go. I am not jealous.

Usually fluffy looks more impressive than it actually is. 10 inches, though...

Power company found all the droopy branches. That's always a plus.

Yay! Found out my insurance is dropping by $243 per year. Guess that's quite an incentive to keep my record clean. I believe 1 (maybe 2) ticket is coming off my record in 2018. Fairly certain my insurance company factors that in when renewing a policy, regardless if it's not off the record by the time the renewal comes in.

That's what the fellow under the tent in the shopping center parking lot is for.

While you wait, go into a coffee shop and wrap your hands around a hot cup of coffee and flirt with the waitress.

I don't why you're making a rock chip repair sooooo hard ......??

Haha, damn right.

Well, I have hand tremors (essential benign tremors is the scientific term) so one of the steps I had to re-try 4 or 5 times till I got it correct (well, I hope lol) because I couldn't keep the hands steady enough to avoid messing it up (had to re-drop the resin stuff in each time because I made the stuff from each prior attempt sort of spill out).

The realization of needing to have a clean abstract has come up. I've been casually job searching (as mentioned a few weeks ago) and have noticed that's a big requirement for a lot of companies. I plan to make a move within a year or two, whether back to school or to a different place, that's undecided as of yet. I need to have a clean (or mostly clean) record in order for me to move up to a position I've been eyeing at another company.

Works out kind of well, since I have a bit of a rapport with the guy I'd be replacing. He's looking to retire in that time frame and let me know he'd put in a good word for me.
