Somebody bought it for "best offer"...and sadly it wasn't me. Oh well. Had it been an '85 (with black whale tail, and black/red seats) I would have jumped on it most likely.

Hope the buyer enjoys it...on the surface looks like they got a solid car.

Yeah they are not too bad to do as far as I know. I only changed the one on the rear, took all of 2 minutes to pound it off then to get the new one on we used a few washers and an open ended lug with the impact gun and pulled it through. No need to remove the axles lol

Replacing the studs isn't too bad of an install.. It's much easier with a press but I didn't have that available to me so I had a buddy (who owns a shop) do mine

To reference what we were saying on anther thread I see that it has the original stock wheels. That is always a very good sign that it wasn't messed with too much. Even if they did have different wheels on it at some point they held onto those all these years so they cared about the stock status of the car.

I got all 5 replaced on one of my wheels for $40. Plus like $1.50 a stud but they were oem. The place told me they'd replace all wheels for that cost on labor as long as I supplied the parts. After watching it be done I'm fairly sure I could do it myself if I owned an impact wrench.

:face-palm: good point haha!! There is barley enough room to fit a regular stud in, you are going to have to remove the real axles sorry ichi
