...and since the random subject of the day seems to be video games.....

Why is it in Assassin's Creed you plunder 100's of chests for cash, and pickpocket people you've killed (justly of course) for pocket change, yet over the course of the game you have to leave what is probably a million dollars worth of swords just laying there on the ground after a kill?

Well, for my fun, I made homemade meatballs for spaghetti and meatballs for supper tonight. Yep, picked up the recipe at the garlic festival in Gilroy, CA a few years back. Lots of garlic.

Our daughter is out of town on a business trip all this week so ....... ma-ma and pa-pa have extra granddaughters duty. Plus pa-pa volunteered to fix supper for the son-in-law and 3 granddaughters all week.

Oh, yes, number one granddaughter tried to turn on "her" desktop, which is beside me to do her IXL math homework ......says "it's hard". What can I say .... I suggested a piece of paper and pencil ....... I'm soooo far behind ......

OK, I'll return you all to the gaming channel ......

I like your style

So, my Rosewill SRM-01 has shown some weaknesses already. The door/tray that the HDs mount to is a pain in the butt, makes cable management near impossible for the hard drives. The screws that hold that door shut are stripped out already. Basically all my gripes centre around the hard drive situation. What are some micro/mid cases that ya'll like?

Different controller types are really born out of necessity.

I grew up playing Nintendo Game and Watch pocket devices so a console gamepad feels natural to me and is second to none for platform jumpers like Mario.

But for some games that originated from the arcade like 2D scrollers or fighting games, a quality joystick with spring loaded buttons would be best, something my dad would find most comfy.

PC gaming never had a quality gamepad or arcade type joystick for the longest time with trash like Gravis. So when 3D shooters came in the 90's along with the need to aim later on, the keyboard and mouse became the logical solution, while flight sims made flight controllers from Thrustmaster and CH Products popular.

Took my friend 3 hours to get home. A normally 30 minute commute. Seriously; if you cannot drive in the snow, Do. Not. Drive. Carpool with someone who can drive. If you cant carpool, get home and learn how to drive in the snow, its an invaluable skill.

Would appreciate it. I'm kinda set on the CoolerMaster MasterBox 5, but it's at the upper end of what I'd like to spend.

Completely agree. Especially the SUV and truck owners, they speed up during pouring rain and a mile down the road, I see them smacked into a concrete barrier. Or they tend to tailgate me, even though I'm in the farthest right lane going speed limit. -_-
