OMG... tired of this stupid ass post office losing my shit...

It's insane how many times they "deliver" a package and it isn't in my damn box.

Recently had this happen. I ordered my dad a Chromecast and my brother an external HD for Christmas. Got "delivered" to me. And by that, I mean it was delivered to an address that's in a different postal code. I filed a complaint with the retailer, they said take it up with Canada Post. So I did that, got the refund then last week, the package showed up. Turns out it got delivered to an address that's 200m down the road, same house number and similar street name.

In what world is it ok to leave someone else's mail in your living room? For six or seven weeks, it sat in their house and then they finally decided to drop it off. Which left me with the headache of getting in touch with the retailer and letting them know I had the package now.

I had to get a PO box on base, because packages left on my doorstep kept walking away before I got home. I know the post office on base is secure, so it's the only way I can order anything and be guaranteed that I'll get it.

This post office does it all the time.
We have this neighborhood website and there's always people posting about their lost packages.
I always file a lost mail/complaint thing every time mine is gone but it seems pointless.

I don't know how someone can fuck up so often.

Dummy! I would have just gotten 2.

More parts came today. CPU, MoBo, RAM (I need to return the RAM, since I found 2x8GB for 5 bucks more than the 1x8GB I originally bought. Just gotta go pick up my hard drives and wait for the case to get delivered now. Hoping the case gets delivered tonight so I can get the bulk of the build out of the way.

On the topic of building computers (I havent built one yet) can someone tell me if its possible to build kind of a super computer cluster with a bunch of raspberry pi's? I think that'd be fun to make.
