I'm much better. Still some lingering ookiness but you know how that goes.

My damn CPAP machine died yesterday and I have the worst kind of apnea. I'm all wobbly and fuzzy-minded today. Even more than usual. (yuk yuk) Going to see if I can do anything to fix it.

I enlisted at 18 but came to my senses 9 years later and accepted the offer to move back while I went to college. Best decision I ever made. No regrets. I graduated in the spring of 2000.

It too was an invaluable experience. Dove into it headfirst and lived the dream. Just realized there is more to life than slinging bombs and chose to move on.

The first time I went clam digging (being from the Midwest) the guy at the hut on the beach issuing permits, tried to rent me a "clam gun". I replied that I didn't realize that you had to shot them". I was being serious ...... I didn't know ......
