Been there. It isn't so bad. Just spend the few bucks for a powered flooring saw. Worth every penny!

I'd definitely be investing in one of those, as well as a jig saw.

Shit, maybe I should just get a jug of that and dump it in my trunk on purpose. I've had 3 beer bottles shatter in my trunk now, and every now and then I get a whiff of beer.

Ive had a large bottle of premade margaritas break back there and it took some time to get rid of the smell totally. My trunk mat is rubber side up now so it helped. The margaritas soaked into the cloth pretty good

Yup, the real kicker for the most recent bottle was that it was a very limited production run from a brewery in Michigan that my aunt brought up for me. I was so bummed out

GODDAMNSONOFABITCHSHITFUCKINGHELL

Talking about this I remembered my boss gave me a bottle of wine for Christmas that I threw in the back seat and promptly forgot about it! Anybody know the freezing point of wine? I am afraid to go look but haven't smelt anything so may be OK.

Not worth it. Our trunks actually drain very well. Flipping it over works well enough and stops stuff from sliding around.

It's about 15 degrees F, but it has to be there a while to freeze solid. Probably wouldn't do it overnight.
