Random Thoughts - Part Deux [NO POLITICS]

In Texas we get about 10 or so perfect weather days a year. Yesterday was one. 84 degrees, brilliant sun and blue sky, not a trace of humidity, gentle breeze. A robin arrived and was singing merrily in my Bradford pear tree, which was in full bloom. I thought, "At last, spring is here."

Apparently, that was it. Today, still clear but 97 degrees this afternoon. In March. Apparently spring came and went in one day.

Stop over the west side of the sound sometime. I can run you around Dewatto and Tehuya in Kitsap. A run through Thorndyke or up to PT can be fun across the bridge too.

Need to give it a week or two to get all the trees off the roads after this weekend.

I just may take you up on that offer! I've only been west of the sound twice, both times with driving group - run to Satsop nuclear towers and north to Crescent lake.

Got a couple of buddies who love finding new roads around here!
@jawn will you be free in July? Cheap track day planned just for 86's and we can hang out too! Though driving across country costs could add up with gas and food.

Lol, I'll take it over the weather we're having here in Illinois. Today was pleasant, 50 and overcast, but it's dropping into the 30s next week and I'm sick of it. Thankfully, I'll be in Dallas for all of next week, so I'll get to taste some of your Spring/Summer weather for myself!

Yeah, I only owned my car for like a month when 86expo happened. I'll try to go to the next one I think.
