How is that over budget? That's like 12.50$ American

Just looked at Crutchfield. 3 decent options been $150 and 200$. All look pretty compact

Edlebrock shows from 230-250whp on Delicious dynos on CARB tune. Jackson says its +70hp (in the CSG thread at least). N/A tuned could add 30whp easily which leaves the 40whp difference.

I'm trying to remember his gain from FT86SF's catted header & OFT tune, but don't think it was 30whp gain. Maybe 15~20whp?

Where we get humidity, it's cold damp drizzly wetness.
Fine if you bundle up, but your feet get cold if you stand around too long.
Break out the Sorrel snow boots. Summer is idyllic though. For a week and a half.

Ahhh, catted header. Yeah, those numbers would be lower. Idk. Somebody got better weather on dyno day or just doesnt have an optimized tune. But who cares if the driveability is good. This car isnt about big HP anyway lol

Seems ppl got focused on peak hp and dont see the bump up on midrange. Agreed about driveability being good

Yup. Under the curve gains are important. Especially for a DD

Is it me or do both cars seem to have pretty crappy suspension setups just from watching the cars running around the canyon.

For going fast it's not balanced well. For sliding around, it's good

A K20/24 would be worth it for a built engine, which would certainly be a lot of fun. I would probably do forged high compression pistons, rebalance the crank to match, titanium and inconel valves. The great thing about the K engines is that upgraded parts are SO cheap compared to Toyota engines. That combo should be good for a reliable and efficient 240bhp or so.

I think it would be really cool if Denver or somewhere in Texas or Nevada took off. It makes too much economic sense to move somewhere with plentiful real estate and low taxes, but there's that chicken and egg problem with finding employees. To save on taxes, such a move would be really good regardless of the availability of jobs if some of this startup stock does well...fingers crossed. After growing up, going to college, then going to work all in the Bay Area, I feel like somewhere new would be fun anyways. I would definitely move to a cheaper state if I wanted to start something myself, because at the beginning you really just need low expenses so you don't go broke.

Texas has really really hot weather, but to us Californians the land is almost free, which is kind of mind boggling. What do you mean I can buy a house without spending 50 years worth of savings? :O Plus it's a great place for car enthusiasts
I hear Colorado is the place to move. One of our workers from the Carolina center came to visit us for 2 weeks and she said floods of people are migrating there (she was born and raised in Denver). I do hear the weed is also better! (I dont smoke though)

I love Seattle and surrounding area as a car person, the roads once you head east are fucking amazing! But I hate people.. especially people who can't drive for shit. Biggest pet currently are people who drive with no headlights on.

Finally happened in my very local weekly gossip rag.
A firestorm '13 for sale at $15,995 in the classifieds.
First sighting. I've been watching for it. They're getting ooooollllddd.

What do? Think I'll keep mine for a few more years.
