oh and in other news I just scored a 15% pay increase and they are giving me a bonus system on top of that to stay at my current job

Instead of buying more car parts you should put the pay increase or part of it directly into savings/investments(your car doesn't count as an investment in this case :P ).

If you are already able to live comfortably at your current salary you can start saving like crazy with increases/bonuses.
