Which it would. I have little doubt that many of the near misses talked about were because the trainee threw it like you pictured.

I'll hafta remember your way the next time I'm in a paintball war. Maybe I'll get grenades this time.

Finch, you were the one looking for a new phone right?

WOW! ..... am I late for this formation or what .....

Allow me to give ya'll a little background on my non-combat experiences with female soldiers.

I was a Captain commanding an Infantry company when the females in the military were transitioning from the WAC to "female soldiers".

One time, I commanded a unit that had 8 female soldiers.

I have many stories/challenges about the female soldiers ....... such as:

* Who is going to dig our slit trench?

* Where can I plug in my hair dryer?

* My objective is to seduce every officer, above the rank of major, in this Brigade.

Stories available upon request ...........

As a commander, the transition period was quite a challenge, the biggest challenge was dealing with the male soldiers that were trying to "adjust" to their female counterparts.

I "adjusted" to many of my female counterparts! Some several times and in very odd locations.

Seems like a good reason for a unisex military. Inconvenient for folks like ole tcoat here but probably best in the long run

used to warm up for baseball games with a ball wrapped in pennies with electrical tape. then when we went to throw a regular ball it felt like nothing and made tough throws seem easier.

I saw some women who could carry their weight, most couldn't. News flash, though, most of the men couldn't either. Whiny selfish lazy bitches for the most part being dragged along by the 10% who gave a shit. Sort of like the rest of life so not that surprising.

It's only gotten worse. I still work amongst the military and most of these kids are dumb, undisciplined and can't do their jobs. Whether they sit down to take a piss has zero correlation to their abilities other than load bearing and risk of getting preggers.

I think we already clarified that I don't have a problem with female soldiers other than their physical capabilities. They simply cannot be as strong as a man is capable of being. If they can't "pull their weight" they shouldn't be soldiers, male or female.

I saw your clarification later, that's a good, better constructed argument. I think you might be more liberal than me in light of that.

For me, no double standards. ONE set of standards, not two. If you can't meet the criteria, buhbye, no exceptions for non-combat MOSes.

Pregnancy. You don't get pregnant. You are a military member, essentially, a piece of equipment. Get pregnant on your own time, before or after you get out. Get knocked up, Big Chicken Dinner, the exit is over there. Oh, and that guy that knocked you up, here's his, he can walk out with you.

I think we are very much alike on this. I expect soldiers and cops to be in premium condition all day every day with very strict requirements that you either meet or you gtfo. I don't care about gender, gay/straight, color, whatever... you can do the job or you can't. I expect all soldiers to far exceed normal civilians in physical condition, capabilities, and combat training. Maybe I've played too many video games but I expect each and every person fighting for our flag to be a total badass
