Obviously it's very different, but I watched my dad access the pump on an E-class and he showed me the pump assemblies and I was surprised on how flimsy those floaters looked. Of course, they're floating around and have to be light in order for them to float but any rough handling of them looked like it would break them. Just some random experience.
