Nah, not back on the booze. Did indulge last night, but it was a special occasion, finished a big project way under budget, so we had a nice little celebration.

I'm enough of a douchebag on my peasant salary that it would only add to the effect.

I could just talk to it and never touch a button but it tends to change settings based upon certain sentences said in shows so I turned that off.

Or:
I could just wave my hands in the air and then make motions for the controls but the cat's tail triggered that every time he walked past so that got tuned off as well.

Shit, that's 4 buttons.

Voice and motion command on and off.

Moving on... The most apathetic of all are the ones who have spent many hours a day, for decades, in front of a keyboard; and have never even once pressed the "Pause/Break" key. If only to see if it does anything at all.

Reminds me of the horror stories of people locking their differentials and driving on paved highways and then complaining to the mechanic that the cars broken and that user error was not a factor. At all. Totally.

i actually press the buttons directly on my tv...well they are not technically buttons as they are touch sensitive
