i was approaching a red light and was downshifting using engine braking knowing it would turn green in a moment

co worker said i think your brake lights are not working...unless you were downshifting

i said yep

then he said man i miss driving a manual car (he is in an Escalade)

in my mind *but i have an automatic*

So... Currently conflicted about my next haircut. Basically, I haven't had long hair in mad time, due to military stuff. But, I don't need to do any army shit until September and I have a little over a month to do something fun. I figure I want to do something super ugly.

My two choices:

The "Patty Kane"


Or,

The "Josh Donaldson"

I've often wondered how it's possible to own a car and not know how all the controls work.
I mean, it's almost as lethargic as never using more than 5 of the 48 buttons on the TV remote just because it's too much hassle to figure out what the rest of them do

There are more than 3 buttons? Why? What could you possibly need 48 for?

On/off
Volume up/down
Source HDMI 1 and 2

Or:
I could just talk to it and never touch a button but it tends to change settings based upon certain sentences said in shows so I turned that off.

Or:
I could just wave my hands in the air and then make motions for the controls but the cat's tail triggered that every time he walked past so that got tuned off as well.

Shit, that's 4 buttons.

Voice and motion command on and off.
