This is incredibly true, many accidents and deaths could be avoided if people knew how to hold or control a slide. In high school I watched the drivers ed class there and they would tell people to just let go of everything if the back end steps out and I asked them why they don't just counter steer and throttle out, she said something like that's over complicated and unnecessary. If people learn this at 16 when they get there permit it would be genius, hence if I have kids first time it snows and they have a permit I would totally find a parking lot for them to learn to drive in...
