E85 vs 91?
I'm currently in the process of installing my Jackson c30 SC into my brz and all my buddies think I should run an e85 tune. So I've looked up pros and cons and so far the pros outweigh the cons. However specifically for our cars what are the obstacles other than the obvious to run e85? In other words car specific, what are the pros and cons?

if you live near e85 stations, and have the budget to do a flex fuel system (like the Delicious Tuning one), then 100% go for it. the only way I would do an e85 tune is with a flex fuel module so that I am not forced to use e85 only. unfortunately where I live, e85 is nonexistent unless you live in a metropolis like LA.
I guess a con of e85 is less gas mileage, but e85 is also cheaper than 91 so in the end I think it cancels each other out. of course, the main pro is that you get all that extra power and knock protection lol

After you fork up the money to get a proper tune for it, not really any cons to E85 other than it being scarce in some regions, and your MPG's drop a bit. Personally, I just prefer the sweet smell of corn juice over gasoline fumes in my garage every morning when I start my car.

E85 is like jetfuel for boosted cars...so much more knock free timing can be added. Just get tuned for both and flip when you like.

If you have a SC, there may be a, chance you will need fuel pump/injectors to keep up with e85+SC. Research this, and get flex fuel. Otherwise availability is really the only thing holding you back. Cost is negligible for fuel. I figured it out last year and I lost 1 mile per dollar spent on fuel

It feels like I'm driving into a police state when I go down south. I have to have front license plates, only approved mods, and all cats installed. I kept my car factory stock just so I can drive down south. Up here, LEO don't care about that asinine stuff. They just care about drugs and alcohol. And I don't do either.
