If you're so set on the color as well why not get it powder coated?
Or try that autodip stuff. I am really excited to try it on my OEM ri.... Wheels!!

I'm on 17x7 RPF1s with sticky tires. Not a "ricecar" at all.

I haven't seen a Powdercoat which is anywhere close to how SCB looks.

Also, Powdercoated wheels seem to "fail" more than none powdercoated. Enkei does not recomment having their wheels powdercoated as they claim it will affect the wheels structure.

This is true, and I've seen it firsthand

See this guy gets it! You never fail me @LOLS2K

What rubber do you run? I keep burning through tires so my plan is to get some R compound for my next set so I wont be able to slide around and ruin them

I'll be honest, they weren't my first choice but I got a smokin deal.
I'm burning through the RS3s that are currently on them, but I have a set of 71r on the stock wheels waiting to be transferred over.

I heard those are not bad. I ran Nitto Invo's for half a season as a DD tire last year and love them as far as DD tires go, but its time I get some real grip since I invested a ton into suspension that will be going on this spring. I think I will be going with these Nittos link this year. Do you think those are a little overkill for a DD? lol

What's wrong with 17x9 if they are lighter than stock? If I stay with 17" I'd get these Apex wheels. Made for our cars. Can use stock centercaps and tmps, right bore so no centering rings required, and plenty of space for some BBK's.

Apex ARC-8

Hell no! If you can afford to run the NT01s then go for it. Especially since you are pleased with the brand. They're gonna look so good stretched across your wheels.
I went with the Stones because they were the new hawtness, and it turns out that I really like them.

Wider will mean more contact patch and that effects everything including suspension geometry (slightly). It will make the car harder to steer and scrub off more speed in the corners (this is only slight and only at track level driving that most people will never notice) as well as change the contact pressures which can decrease grip over a rough surface provided all else is equal. Scrub radius is also effected.

Now with all that being said this is something normal people wont really notice in normal driving lol. Here are a few pics to try and explain what I am getting at.

I drop at least 1k on tires every year already hahaha! The Invos look dope in 225/45R/17 on OEM wheels so I can only imagine what a race tire will look like.
