As far as gap insurance goes that covers the loan balance vs insurance coverage, not damage.

My guess is he keeps it, but it depends on CA law and how the gap insurance terms are worded. Never had gap insurance.
So they have cheap insurance through a broker (usually a PITA from everyone else I know that has dealt with them). Their insurance is denying the claim because their partner lives at the same household and regularly drive the vehicle but were not listed on the policy. They may need to consult an attorney to find out if that is indeed legal since their partner was not explicitly excluded from the policy tbh

Of course he would have to have them flat before moving to Idaho since there is probably a California law that says you can't export air out of the state.

I don't know what to say.

Your right, my 911 is garbage.

Might as well send it to Canada.

I don't think anybody said it was garbage at any point in time. You said you were sending it years ago anyway!

so i've seen tach's rotated in vehicles so that redline/optimum power is at the top-- easier to see out of one's periphery while focusing on driving. what's the significance of the rotated speedo?

also you seem to want a lot of people to bite you... is there a line, or is it first come first served?

Porsche 911s of this era have gigantic ugly steering wheels. I have the stock one somewhere. I have a much smaller Momo. With the speedo rotated I can clearly see from 10 mph to 120. I also have the oil level, pressure gauge rotated slightly for better view.

Just come to idaho. Bites are readily available.

I don't know. One of my winter projects is to maybe change the brakes. I have never changed the brakes since I bought the car in 1987. They will still throw you thru the windshield if you try.

I have put about 70k miles on the car.

You said "Again, bit me". So I bitted you twice. One bit, two bit. I guess the extra zeros weren't necessary.

Lucky it`s not a twin. The weight of the dial would slow it up.

It is German made. Speedo probably has more parts in it than my wristwatch. And it'd be accurate to 0.0001mph!
