Figured with the crew of regular posters here I may get an answer. Anyone have a line on a decent and cheap serial port monitor? I believe one of my pieces of equipment communicates with RS232 and the manufacturer is getting hard to deal with. Kinda want to do some snooping.

You automatically become over 40 with every 'Vette purchased. It is a law of nature.

I found Ultra's doppelganger.
We have a guy at work that is also the same size, age and sounds like Ultra. He is a real d!ck though. Well... I guess the guy at work is one as well.

I've got an old Amiga you could plug into it.

What sort of installed price is a new water heater these days?
The pressure relief valve on mine started dribbling hot water into the evacuation system last week and I had to shut it off for the time being.
Had a plumber in this morning to see about it and he said he wouldn't touch it with a pole.

I mean, yeah, it's antique 1956 vintage OEM with the house, but I've got some serious mileage out of it and there's sentimental value of a sort.
Think I can pull the body off the rails and put a restomod frame and powerplant inside? AWD?

I asked for him to put in a bid, but I think he may put some swirls in the paint during the process.

I...despise painting. But I managed to finish the first coat in one of the bedrooms in time to make dinner. The plan is doing the two extra bedrooms during the week and then main bedroom during the weekend.

We went with "Bit of Sugar" White BEHR paint for all the bedrooms. I know is only a matter of time until the boss lady decides she wants color back and not plain white. I'm taking bets on how long it will be until that happens. Of course, when she says "We need to paint" she means "You're painting, and I'll be having wine in the living room waiting to tell you how you still need to do another coat."

My wife painted this yesterday. Looks pretty good. The little bookcase was bright green, and mounted with screws 6' up a wall in the garage and used as a shelf. I bet it's happy to be a bookcase in the house again.

Right? When I have to work front desk and some patron as "Do you have any recommendation on a book?" My reply is always "I don't read book, so can't help you on a recommendation. But there's a shelves blah blah blah." They look at me like I'm monster or something lol

The library isn't what it used to be. They have 3D printer, laser printer, big ass printer that can print 6' wide posters, vinyl cutting printer, sound booth, video editing pc, sewing machines and so much more than just books, CD, DVD & BluRay. We even rent out Chromebooks, hotspots, telescopes & even binoculars.
