Did everyone get their new owners manual yet?

All the funny typos are gone

NEW owners manual? I grabbed the one out of my car last night even though I can't have the car till tomorrow AM.

Do you mean new as in not the one that was floating around online?

No, new as in replacement of the one shipped with the car. I originally received the poorly translated manual with 20-30 pages of corrections in a PDF that was printed out. All future cars should (in theory) have the correct manual, previously delivered cars have the old manual and the owners should get the new manuals from their dealers when they arrive.

But you were right in a sense, the one posted online IS the poorly translated one some cars came with.

Ah thanks for clearing that up Dave, I'm guessing I have the old one since my car came in on the 30th. Sweet, bonus reading material.

I just got my car today and it still came with the original manual. All they did was add a little addendum booklet/pamphlet printed and stapled on regular paper with all the corrections, lame...

Can anyone tell me if this is a typo?

Why are the lights at level 2 with just a driver and luggage but at 1 when the car is full of people AND luggage?

Also...my favorite thing I read so far was from the Nav manual...

"Do not use the (navigation) unit anywhere other than in a vehicle"

Maybe with the car fully loaded, the weight distribution is such that the headlights aren't pointed as up? Imagine a seesaw, the luggage is on one side and you are on the other. Now add a passenger to your side. The balance shifts a little.

Your new manual should be there within a few days.

Laika: I'll have to pull the new manual and see.

Just imagine, when you're showing your classic BRZ at some car show in the year 2042, the judges will deduct points if you don't have the original manual with the typos.

Mine came with the older manual but had the booklet of all the errors they made included. They just got it too.

That graph is the same in the new manual.
