There's a post buried somewhere with a good right up.

Pull the two bolts holding the slave on-top of the transmission and move it a little, the rubber boot comes off to show the fork going to the clutch.
Take a finger worth of grease and reach down and Dab around around the pivot joint.

Should only take about 15 minutes.

Did pads and rotors all around; took a minute to properly clean up the wheels.

Car got a bath, helped a friend prep a car for a ceramic coating then out for drinks.

Ordered some odds and ends for the drivetrain. Exedy OEM clutch+flywheel, OEM flywheel bolts and battle garage TOB kit with versus fork and pivot.

Car has 125,000km which is in TOB goes boom territory..

These shipped blazingly fast or they forgot to send me the tracking info. Got a notification yesterday a shipping label was created in Japan; today they're on my doorstep.
Took some detailed photos for anyone Curious. Also confirms these are likely the same STi mounts based on the stamped Subaru badging on the rubber.

I want mugen tape

Curious to hear your impression between the current bushing inserts you have and the full replacement.

Not a great picture.. but

Installed TRD engine and trans mounts. Was fortunate a friend lent me his lift; took me around 2 hours to do everything. Driverside mount was the most PITA but I did it kevinvo method without removing the header.

Only immediate intial impressions but I am quite pleased with lessened slop and NVH actually dropped after pulling out the OEM trans mount with whiteline insert.

I was getting weird IAM drops with my tune around 3000RPM under harder throttle in 5-6th gear with the whiteline insert. Need to do further logging/monitoring but that issue seems to be gone now.

Gentle driving is less jerky with changes to throttle Inputs, the shifter also doesn't wooble around as much.

Impressions update. Put a couple hundred kilometers on the car already since mounts were installed. Highly recommend the full combo together; very OEM+. I wish I did this one sooner. These killed 95% of the NVH I was noticing.

The throttle feels more refined and responsive; engine pulls nice and strong to redline.
Shift quality and feel is best it's ever been; with both carrier bushings + mtec springs I think this about as good as the OEM shifter can get.

This type of driving I notice the change the most in town. Throttle/clutch engagement is smoother letting me shift quick and smooth while short shifting under load.

When my car went in for its warranty work (valve springs), I took the opporuntity to swap out the engine and transmission mounts for the STI Group N units.

Best mod, as it took out the sloppiness in the drive. Engine/drive and the body all feeling as one.. I haven't noted any new NVH that is normally associated with such upgrades.

First nice day after a week of rain.
Tossed on the new mirror, I will need to readjust to wide-angle, my brain warps everytime I look at it.

Start the day with a morning detail. Did a coating decontamination wash to freshen up hydrophobics and remove mineral deposits/water spotting.

Before/after photo testing carpro spotless. I went over the entire car after this to get rid of smaller spots you can only see when the paint was wet(which grab water and ruin the hydrophobics )

Water test after panels decontaminated.

CSG touring arrived and installed. Pretty mellow overall, need to wait for breakin for final impressions but makes a nice noise in cabin.

I will try to get outside rollers whenever I have some time.

A little on ramp acceleration fun, Used my dashcam and my phone as audio for the second clip since I think it provides better audio.
Don't mind the banging noise.. had the rear seats down and a full load of detailing junk in the back flying around that I was trying not to send through the windshield
