Question Anyone know what this scraping sound is?

UPDATE: FIXED!!! ^_^

Hi, my eight (8) year old BRZ just started making this sound today.

Anyone know what it could be?

I believe it's coming from the front passenger wheel well.

Thanks in advance. ^_^

Could be a number of things. I'd pull the wheel and brakes off and see if there is anything obvious.
My guess a warped rotor. It is clearly rotating with the wheel.

I'd be taking the wheel off and inspect brakes and backing plate to start.

I have had pad retainer clips bend and contact the rotor due to a rock jamming in there. Weird things can happen.

UPDATE: FIXED! - I think it was a piece of road debris that got stuck between the caliper and the rotor. I took off the wheel and rotated the rotor and it sounded fine. Put the wheel back on and test drove it. No sound. Thanks for all your help! ^_^
