ordered 3/2/2012 still no Vin or ETA and to dadte never received the "weekly" update call I was promised...but then again since they haven't and probably won't update the status until it's here the entire group of people in the office responsible for answering our calls is useless and unnecessary, fire them all so our cars can be cheaper

Nice! That would make sense actually- when I called last week the rep said I was still waitlisted but to check back very soon for updates. Later said they expected to know something soon. She kept emphasizing "soon," so perhaps my car is on the boat arriving today or Thursday. I'll check tomorrow and Friday to see if I have a VIN yet.

Wow. That seems like a lot more than 500/month for the whole US since that's just for Baltimore. If this is true I wonder what % of preorders will be filled by mid-July....

Yeah, the CSR from SOA emphasized "soon" when I called as well.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if the vast majority were.

That was similar to my experience. She didn't emphasize soon, but suggested I call back in the first week of June.

Hopefully VINs/estimates for those cars show up before then.

I'm in the same exact situation as NYC BRZ. I just called and SOA gave me the generic "June" response. No on-board date, no manufacture date, nothing but "June". Also no VIN. They must just be saying that so they can give us something.

A dealer close to me just got a BRZ delivered to them, so SDC is shipping them out to dealers atm!
