Is the donut gasket on TRD exhaust directional? When I installed it, I don't recall seeing any directionality, but perhaps I put it in the wrong way? Could that be a cause of the drone? Instructions didn't mention a direction either.

It's still kinda there between 2600-3000 RPM (I guess I'll refer to this as the remaining 5% lol), but less pronounced than before. No drone outside of those RPMs if I recall correctly.

Disclaimer: I also have a catless dual-resonated front-pipe, so your experience may slightly differ with stock front-pipe.

I can confirm. I put that same Vibrant resonator and it eliminated all the drone. Truly amazing. I dare to say it's "silent" when holding RPMs and idle, but is loud when you step on the gas. Exactly what I'm looking for.

That's a very mature sounding car. I guess the Vibrant is doing wonders with his dual resonated front pipe.

I have tried the dual resonated front pipe and I didn't like the smell, couldn't live with it.

Now I am on catted and resonated front pipe and it is so much better.

I guess you don't have any drone with your current set up.

There's still a small amount of drone/resonance around 2600-3000 RPM, but less pronounced than before; the Vibrant resonator helped a lot.

Smell wise, I haven't noticed anything sitting in-cabin. I've only noticed a smell if I'm outside the car, e.g. putting/getting something from trunk while it's running.
