keyless passenger unlock

I usually unlock the door with the handle when I walk up to my brz limited. But when there is a passenger, the other door does not unlock when I touch the handle.

Is there a way to unlock the passenger door without using the fob button or inside door button?

Open the driver door with the car off, hold down the lock and panic buttons on the key fob for approx 5 seconds. When you let go the car should beep. Now both doors will unlock when you touch the door handle.

Thanks! This really bugged me.

Was on a date the other night and the lucky young lady was the first person I brought for a ride.
After the first time the door didn't open I started opening it for her. Bonus point for me I guess lol

OMG thanks so much for this! It has been a HUGE PIA when I have a passenger, seeing how I generally just leave the fob in my bagpack.

This is great!
