I would grab some OE touch up paint and paint those black clips to match. Much more subtle that way.

That's a good idea. That's why I originally got the carbon fiber colored latches. I wanted them to go with the carbon fiber hood. But I will definitely do that. Thanks for the idea.

So what is broken and preventing the bumper from fitting back on correctly? The mounting holes on the bumper or the clips on the headlight brackets?

Idk. I bought a new front bumper to fix it. And it didn't work. So I got new headlight brackets. They also didn't work. I have also changed the plastic push screw under the side markers with a bolt and washer for a tighter fit and it didn't work either lol. When I get the mini clips and the metal Subaru clips in the mail imma take it all back apart and hopefully can get it fixed for good. Went ahead and ordered quick release latches for the hood to as it shakes to much. So hopefully the whole front end will be fixed next week. Yay...

Make sure to post your results. I have a minor gap on mine that I was hoping to fix when I install new headlights in the near future. I was hoping that I might just need to replace the headlight brackets but now I'm worried lol.

The plastic tabs wear IIRC. So they don't lock together well. You can see in this thread and how they repaired it.

OP said he got a new bumper and replaced the headlight brackets so I don't understand how that would not fix the gap if the plastic tabs being worn out is the issue.

Oh yeah I seen that. But I'm hoping to not have to even use them with the metal clips. But I did order two just Incase. And it was much cheaper then 200
