Was good to meet a few of you at pavilions this weekend. I just picked up my BRZ as my new daily driver on Saturday. Looking for ideas as far as mods go, but I don't want to do too much to performance yet since I like the gas mileage (my GTR is getting 8mpg). I'll def be at the bash, and looking forward to getting some ideas.

haha. She's my baby, but I do love this BRZ as well. It's the complete opposite of the GTR, but thats why I bought it. I've always liked it and finally pulled the trigger on saturday. Plus, if I daily drove the GTR much more I'd kill myself since its hard to keep it under 100 :/

Just get the set from password JDM. If you're on a budget, the ones from sickspeed on eBay are surprisingly good.

I thought that screen name sounded familiar. Surprised I didn't see you running that out at AZ fastest, did I miss it or were you in something else?

Thanks. I love the BRZ. Now I'm just telling myself I can't do any performance mods for awhile But I'll eventually add something.

I plan to go down there after work, big o tires right by my house told me 60 dollars for mounting and balancing plus tpsm repair and they could get the tires in a day, hopefully Cruz can beat that

Interesting read for those who want to know. This company tested quite a few different oil filters and gave the results. I was surprised by some the results.
http://www.gmtruckcentral.com/articl...lterstudy.html

This was brought up while discussing the fact that K&N Filters are now made in Mexico.

I guess we have to much time on our hands today.

On pricing i have no idea, give him a call. But on quality & service he will beat it :P His shop to date has never damaged a wheel, in which big o cannot compare.

So it looks like more material which should give it better flow as well. As long as thats the same model number of filter and they used the same material.
