TRD vs STI Motor Mounts

Anybody know of any comparisons between the TRD vs STI motor mounts?

Been looking to swap out the motor mounts as the slop has gotten visually ridiculous and I'll be taking the car in to the shop anyways to get some bent parts swapped out (went off the track ~).

TRD: 12311-ZN600 (RH) & 12315-ZN600 (LH)

STI: ST41022AS000 (RH) ST41022AS010 (LH)

@Joveen you probably need to give some credence to the replies. Your profile says "Drives: Bone stock" so how could somone vet your advice? Have you tried both engine mounts?

In this case, they are the same part. I have the TRD engine mounts and transmission mount and they have "Subaru" stamped on them, just like the STI pieces.

Bro my sig says bone stock to be funny. Literally just traded my turbo kit and sold a supercharger last month. I have a build thread on here. TRD and STI in the case of mounts are the same thing. I had torque solutions on my car not too long ago.

Okay, I'm stock but have STI mounts. They're sitting in their boxes on my"to do" shelf, but I have them.

@Joveen well my apologies Bro since I wasn't up to date on everybody's build. It just seems kinda a lack of much of a reply "yep they're the same" instead of "I've tried them both, they're the same product". Like how would somebody, just sliding in the thread know - oh this guy actually used the product, and is giving us feedback instead of maybe echoing reviews or opinions he might have read.

I'd call you out on your bad advice in other threads but I'm not interested in getting into pissing contests. Let's give each other some leeway, shall we?

it is entirely possible to be aware of something without actually installing the components...

i know how to wire in power door lock actuators, but i've never actually done it..

@Ultramaroon you do point out sometimes when I'm wrong, it doesn't make me feel dumb. I reply with what experience I have, and if you go back 7-years ago to my earliest posts then most of it is incredibly off-the-wall. Now I have a much better understanding of, say, fixing drivetrain lash and stiffening mounts, and I like to reply to as many threads as I can on the subject.

Say I replied to threads in a terse manner, or worse, phone posted (tapatalk). I think some of the substance of the topic might not get conveyed. Then again I'm sure you'd be happy with having to read less B.S. I think you might be reading too much into tone of my posts but you're going on an autodefense mode to corral my argument. Everybody claps here when the big meanie gets told.
