of course i'd autoX it. I don't know how hard i'll try to stay in the rules. I wish i had a NASA-X group near me. SCCA rules suck imo.

Does your car beep at redline? I heard it in the videos, especially the autocross clip where you seemed to be at the top of second most of the time.

Heh, I thought I recognized Lot 9 in your sig! Assuming I go ahead and get an FR-S, I'll be joining you there. Have to leave the Vette at home for at least a few events to try out the new car.

The black one, #207. My MCO forum name is the same as here.
I'm still wondering what to do for tires. Since I don't want to bother with a dedicated set of autocross wheels, I'm tempted to go for some Kumho XS "cheaters". Of course, the household budget plays a role in this decision. |

Been autocrossing over 10 years. No reason to stop now, especially since this car has so much potential.

I definitely plan to autocross my BRZ, although I don't know how soon after I get it. I plan to race the full season locally this year with my Miata, so I may do some out of the region events with the BRZ. I plan to go with Dunlop Star Specs on some stock sized lightweight wheels with no other modifications for the first year or so.
I waited an entire week after I took delivery of my Mini Cooper before autocrossing it. I had R-comps bought and mounted up on some spare wheels before I took possession of it. Three days after it came in, I took it on a 1100 mile 3 day break-in trip to St Louis, Memphis, and Bowling Green, KY. |
