Hopefully that large square opening will be reworked into something nicer in a production version. Those camo shots look promising.

Looks like all they did to "rework it" was to add a bar across the middle of the grille giving it braces......

Well anything helps there. LOVE the 240Z and miss my old one a lot :'(
But I fricking HATE the look of the big rectangular front grill when the front bumper is removed. Looks great with the bumper (sans the rubber strips and the two little vertical bumperettes of course).

That could just be part of the camo.

I did think that, kinda like the BRZ having the mouthguard/moustache and then they put a strip of camo over it.

But that small render next to it has a bar there so i thought....hmm...Maybe?

It is. No bar. Just something to excite the publications and stir up free publicity.

it is interesting how extensive they are taking the camo when it isn't really deviating much, if at all, from the totally revealed Z proto. lol what would they be trying to re-hide at this point? i get if they just use the camo wrap over the body, but they got some extra paneling to cover rear haunches + quarter windows too..

Yup it's the same, you can see a bit of the grille design in this close up.
