Is this a good deal? '13 BRZ

Someone hit my parked '16 FRS and totalled it. Looking for a new one. This BRZ is sitting at a Subaru dealership, they're asking 17k for it. Also, what is that Perrin part in the engine? A cold air intake?

Edit: just got off the phone with a guy from that dealership, it has a LOT of aftermarket mods, but he doesn't know what they are. So uhhh.. Yeah LOL

Are you willing to travel anywhere in the US? If so, no.

Too much for a '13. Ask 2k less.

No visible Perrin parts. That sticker probably just means a Perrin air filter inside.

$17k sounds like an awful lot. That's more like what I'd expect to sell mine for up here in Canada.

In short, 17k is 6k from a MY17 w/PP and only a few thousand miles.

MY13s are NOTORIOUS for being in the 15k or less range.

Please don't make me search on Autotrader, cars.com, and cargurus.com nationally for you. They are out there. They are cheaper.

Hell, in CA, you have to pay a 12% Road Use tax on top of that price.

Hello ragnarokfps and welcome to our happy family ......

Too darn bad your other car got messed up ......

Like others have said, that one is over priced.

That Perrin part looks like it might just be the drop in filter they provide? that intake looks stock to me. The perrin intake hose deletes the sound tube which this brz has

Important point. I wouldn’t buy a ‘13 either.

It was not all of the 13 year that had the issues. Only the very early ones had issues. Even then it was not all of them either. IF there were any issues they would of been found by now.

That said the cost is a high for sure. Especially for a modded one of them miles. Mods add no value to the car unless its a mod the buyer specifically wants.
