Guess who I tracked with

at the FT86cup track exhibition at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway...

All I can say is

And that they have been testing this kit rigorously. They are thoroughly testing and making sure it is 100% perfect before releasing the product. Yesterday was hot weather track testing. 104 degrees on the track at Chuckwalla! I put 95 octane in my car just for some extra comfort level and my engine is completely stock...

This is good to see... I'm glad they are back at the track doing more practical tests

Good to see an aftermarket FI company out doing track testing for their product.

I would be curious to know what changes (if any) they made to the cooling systems and what kind of temperatures they were running.

I can't give specifics but what I can say is no crazy cooling system was needed for 104 deg chuckwalla track testing. Temps were good.

I've seen it in person also so I can confirm this as well. Nothing crazy about it all in regard to supporting mods. Most everything done to it is suspension. The kit is solid in appearance in person and pretty factory-ish looking. My guess is they have since gone with a different tuner and started from scratch with the tunes, hence no release yet. This is pure speculation though. It's really the only thing I can think of that would have held this project up. The actual mechanical portion of the equation is clearly in production from other pics posted and you don't make that much product unless you feel that part is solid. The tune is the variable. Bummer they dropped the forum all together but it won't matter once they drop the kit. Everyone will be buzzing about it again I am sure.

I agree, although I am sure they just decided to not be posting stuff up until they are closer to release. Every single post I have seen with them just resulted in everyone saying "we don't care unless you post a dyno" and unless they are ready to post dyno result they probably just decided it was better to not post at all.

I am looking forward to it coming out since it is the only roots type S/C I have seen mention of. I am really not a fan of centrifugal S/C's and turbos on this car seem way too daunting for track use. Unfortunately I'll probably never buy one since I don't want to prep a SM car.
