If they had that orange from Tom, I would move from Brz to Gr86 easily.

Really, really, really loved that color. However, it was a major pain in the ass to keep clean. I would wash and wax it, then drive it once, and you could almost immediatly see the most subtle layer of dust and road grim along the lower edge of the car and the hood and roof. It completely changed the look of the paint. I washed that car every weekend. Probably why I'll avoid bRed.

But if you have a garage and love washing your car, go for it. It is probably right up there with black for beautifully difficult paints.
First thing I'm going to do is paint correction, ceramic coat and PPF. Yeah, its expensive but it was one of the best things I did to my S2k that kept it looking that good for so long... with minimal maintenance by me.

I really like that dark grey metallic, one of the better ones.

I think it adds a fair bit of class to the car that overrides a bit of the boy racer aspect.

Only problem is I have not seen it in premium with the blackened rims and the big duckbill

In the end, most people won’t actually buy red. Most of the 86s out there will be white, grey, black, or silver, just like every other car on the road unfortunately.

Well, some of that is caused by what the manufacturers build. It's a catch-22. Since something close to 99% of all mass market cars are purchased directly off the lot, most people take what they can get rather than what they would want if selecting from a menu.

Supernova red orange (not over sprayed) and Hakone green should be making their comebacks.

After whiteout and halo, I for sure am due for something with a fun colour.
Trueno looks awesome!

I’m saying I find it funny when people are like “yeah I’m getting white because of the Panda Trueno and it brings out the features” as they type that someone else put the same thing prior. Lol. Just interesting. Is what it is though. I can’t wait for some special edition cars

The grey is the same color with different names for both the BRZ and the 86 right?

This is what I'm leaning to.

I would love to see a real Neptune GR86 instead of just Gran Turismo renders that shockingly seem real. Seeing how it genuinely looks even in a photo might be what tips me over to it. If it even gives a whiff of seemingly looking like a small version of a light blue Jaguar F-Type, very much of a win.

I've backed off on Trueno blue because it looks rather different depending on what light and camera was used. Some pictures it looks very dark blue, but some of those shots with it in the light I really liked how it took sunlight. I will definitely need to see if in person to judge this one correctly.

It is kinda weird how there’s only one picture of Neptune. Being that it’s the exclusive Toyota colorway.

Yes, and it looks great on that BRZ. The cars angles are sharpened in the grey, which makes the folds on its front a bit bolder and purposeful - which I think that BRZ front needs.

First mod will probably be to replace the NA spec orange side markers with JDM clears (or smoked) w/amber bulbs. Did this on my 2002 Jetta.

BTW, this is my new wallpaper...
