The GT7 FT86Club League
![]() Rules are simple. You drive 86 or BRZ and get the best time within the certain time period wins. To enter: All you need to do is post the photo of the best lap time. I’ll “try” to keep track of everyone’s time & update em. 2 classes: Gen 1: GT86 & BRZ Mods allowed: - Sports Soft tires. - Wheels can be changed, but can't change width or offset. Gen 2: GR86 & BRZ Mods allowed: - Sports Soft tires. - Wheels can be changed, but can't change width or offset. We’ll update as needed. Maybe we’ll do unlimited class as we get more demands. Track will be decided by me for the sake of time. BUT I'll take any consideration from the winners. This is a honor system, so we trust that you don’t cheat. No shortcuts or extra mods! Points: 1st place - 5 pts 2nd place - 4 pts 3rd place - 3 pts 4th place - 2 pts 5th place - 1 pts If you want to see it more fancy info in the Google Sheet, here you go: FT86CLUB Time Attack ----------[|=(86)=|]---------- I decided to keep it separate from the GT 7 thread for the sole reason that this can be used as a chat between races without getting lost in sauce of other things going on in the original thread. I see we have gathered a mutual interest in doing a GT 7 league involving the members of the forum. Details still need to be ironed out, but here's what I propose. Feel free to add to it. 1. 2nd Gen GR86 cars are to be used, feel free to chose your color or come up with your custom color. 2. No Performance Mods (Can Change as the series moves along), this includes but not limited to Tires, Brakes, CAIs, ECU, Weight Reduction, Suspension, Turbo, Engine Swaps. 3. Livery shall include; preferred number (0-99) and FT86forums username or your in game name shall be your forums username (Some PSN IDs might differ from forums). Other than that, feel free to come up with most hilarious liveries you can. 4. Common track etiquette is to be followed. But is a game, and is supposed to be fun, don't be afraid to give a little love tap to your favorite forum member. 5. Races Dates/Time are TBD 6. Prize is TBD 7. We can add some twist to the challenge, say, using the wrong tires depending on the conditions. 8. If we have schedule constraints, bring it up and we can modify accordingly. 9. Driver Aids allowed need to be discussed. If you're in, share your PSN username, preferred number, picture of your car (Optional) Edit 3/23/2022 Performance Mods, Track Rules, and Assists Performance Mods will be allowed as the series moves along. PP limit will be adjusted to allow Sport tires of your choice. Track Rules No Pit Lane Cutting Collision Penalty at lowest setting Correct Vehicle Course After a collision Flag Rules Shortcut Penalty OFF (This can be a bit buggy, just don't be blatantly abusive of this) Wall Collision Penalty will be removed. No Ghosting Assists NO ABS NO TCS (May Change to lowest setting) NO Counter Steer Assist Racing Line Allowed No Auto Drive. No Active Stability Management

PSN: (I think it's) Kaotic_Lazagna
Number: 12 Style: nice until provoked lol Well now, it turns out I didn't even own a GR86 yet. LOL. Went and bought one. Was gonna do my own livery of some kind, wasn't sure exactly what, but then found someone made a livery with one of my favorite anime. So I decided to use that and put the number 12 along with my forum name and a windshield banner. ![]() Last edited by Kaotic Lazagna; 03-24-2022 at 01:24 AM. Reason: Added pic of car |

As far as driver's aids, I think it should be limited to ABS and TCS. That should appease everyone. No racing lines (as much as I liked using them in GT Sport).

Isn't the driving line turned on/off by individual setup isn't it?

I have to dig in into the server settings and see what can be allowed. I personally like using racing lines and ABS on. Everything off after that. Mostly because I'm not too familiar with the tracks. But we can all agree the terms as we move along.
I was also thinking about the point system. We can have an F1 point system since there is no way the cars will DNF because of the non existing damage model. That way we can mitigate the event that two or more drivers end up with the same points at the end of the series. 1st-25 2nd-18 3rd-15 4th-12 5th-10 6th-8 7th-6 8th-4 9th-2 10th-1
