Wawa In NE Philly Now Has e85!

Just wanted to let everyone know that the Wawa located on Roosevelt Blvd/Byberry Rd. (12004 E. Roosevelt Blvd.) now as an e85 pump.

Ever since Omega Fuels closed down last year, I haven't hardly filled my car with e85, so it's exciting i can finally get some close by.

Now the bad news, my meter shows e40, not e80. Not sure if its my meter, or the pump itself.

Was your tank completely empty of 93 octane before filling? They can't market it as E85 if it's only 41%; the legal minimum is 70% under the E85 label.

i've filled e85 plenty of times it usually goes up to e70-80 depending on the blend. e40 is absurd, something is def. wrong here. and yes this is the only wawa in philly that has e85.

oh this was mainly in reply to the 70% min fred said. im a fucking nerd and do the math to figure out the e% coming from the pump is because sheetz has a few around and i want to find the good one. Ive seen as low as 56% in the winter. ive got up tp 83% last summer

About time we get some philly rep. Several of the sheetz have it up north now. Probably had close to e50 there, even if you're on E and you fill up there's usually a gallon or two hiding in there, that would bring it to the 40's if filling with e50.

good news, the director of fuel at Wawa called me directly and apologized and said this is way too low and that they already got rid of the e85 and are replacing it. he did say the legal limit is 51%, but hopefully the next time i fill up there, it goes to e-70/80.

I just got ~11 gallons from there yesterday; I was at 65% prior to filling and 75% after, so it seems they've gotten a much better batch.
