Will be buying. I do all my own work on my cars and also detail and wash at home. I know in the past I had neighbours who had issue with this but it was more them than the area I lived. Commute to work doesn’t matter but can narrow down North or South, need to do more research.

Honestly the most car central communities are actually Langdon and Crossfield I find if you can stand the commute.

2nd gen
still not happy with the new appearance of 2nd gen myself. back end just looks too similar to hyundai to me. also disappointed in smoothing of lines on headlights and front splitter/nose. too tame.
ecstatic about the bump in motor size and same compression. gonna be real curious where header/exhaust and stage 1 tune goes with this as well as those who jump on the FI train to see what it can do. gonna stick with my boosted gen 1 with all its other mods till the wheels fall off and save the pennies for bigger toy that should cancel any hopes of retirement now that RMM is here. |

I’ve been thinking about a 2022 base BRZ but I’m just such a cheap ****. Really I want it for the drivetrain, but I’m also planning to removed ~300lbs out of my car and finally add a header and tune this winter for track season and that’s a lot cheaper than a new one.

I was getting winter tires installed on my car and i asked a salesguy (at Charlesglen Toyota in Calgary) if he had any info on the GR86, and he said he just got some information from corporate and gave me a spec sheet which had some wrong information (248hp, 148lb/ft torque lol).
But he mentioned that he's expecting to get one in at the end of the month so if anyone wants to check it out that might be when we'd be able to. He also seemed surprised that I had a first gen. Said something about they're hard to get/find right now. |
