I would imagine it’ll likely just be a special color, possibly with interior trim pieces/anniversary badging, and no handling/performance updates (similar to the Hakone) but if there’s anything you could rule out that’d be great to hear.

Also, if I had to guess, this is when we get the red interior (hopefully).
I will give all the details as soon as they're available i just do not have any details besides the NA production model/chassis codes

I'm hearing some of JP side of stuff also NA Toyota & Subaru as well, so I'm LITERALLY mixed up on a lot of stuff. So if I say, I knew the exact detail, I'll be lying.

With that said, take this as a grain of salt. If you're expecting a great things like 14R or even GRMN86, it's not even JP ver tS... not even close.

Don't think those GRMN, 14R or tS would come so early even for Japan tbh.

But I do hope Subaru return the tS with swan neck wing in 2027 FL (similar to 2018 tS with GT Wing).

I also hope Toyota does bring the 14R60 gen 2 to North America.

Please keep us posted!

Torque dip will always be the feature that makes the first gen special, regardless of what edition it is!

It would be nice if one day Toyota North America offer this on the limited edition or factory accessories. Canadian cops wont give us vehicle inspection ticket for having an aftermarket Recaro.

Yep. As the last, very limited, special edition of the First Gen it will indeed always be special.
I just don't see them following up the last special edition colour on the first gen with the same colour for the first of the second.

With Toyota's track record of special edition colours and their "historical" justification for them I would guess it will be one of three different things. All of them would be different (if even only slightly) than past versions of the colours.

Yellow or orange (or yellowish orange) - As with the Lava they like to say that these colours are a throw back to the early days of Toyota sports cars. We have seen a couple of variations on this theme in the first gen SEs.

A different silver or gray. Considered the "upscale" colours and pretty common for special versions. Again done on a couple of the first gens.

A stock colour, probably white and/or black, with some special stripes or other big stickers. Again done on a couple of the first gen editions.

See the pattern? They are sort of predicable now.
