the OP was asking specifically a comparison on the JDL 4-2-1 and the ACE 350 headers. if the price difference was worth it essentially as the 350 is a bit more expensive.

but yes they do achieve their 4-2-1 "Status" differently, as the ACE utilizes the overpipe which seems to be a better more effective way of maximizing mid range while still being able to substantially increase top end.

Thanks for all of the input everyone!

Key take always for me we’re ditch the oft and get a reputable tune somewhere, and ace is better but it’s up to me to decide if it’s THAT much better to warrant the price point.

So I have decided to pick up an ecutek kit and go the remote tuning route with delicious tuning, and pick up the JDL 4-2-1 EL headers. Kind of sets my timeline back a bit but you get what you pay for and delicious seems to be a really respected tuning company.

Anyway ace header is expensive and csg seems to have the "exclusive", but then you try contact them and they respond slowly and basically do not ship to Italy for don t know which reason
so i got directly to ace and got it in 7 days and like 500usd less

They’re the same header, one is non-coated and one is coated. I used those two photos to show the secondaries as they’re not immediately apparent from the top angle.

Here’s some photos from a few different angles of my personal header installed on my car:

they dont seem the same? the secondo not coated already on the engine has the flange just after the merge, the first seems longer "-1" before the overpipe? was it a prototype maybe

It looks like that because the 2 merge pipes are stacked at that angle and one is hidden beneath the other. They both merge right at the flange.

This design probably makes an aftermarket overpipe even more necessary because of the immediate step down right after the merge, essentially the overpipe is expected to become part of the header.
