Nice.

This guy just did a dyno comparison, just like I am planning to do soon.

'13 FRS to '17 BRZ. Looks positive so far.

BRZ is broken in, it does 57mph in 2nd gear with stock limiter.

Working with Shiv on Openflash beta tunes already.

Gah! Sorry to hear it, and hope you're feeling better. On my way back to Highlands Ranch this afternoon I was listening to Slip Angle and they mentioned Mayfield and another guy I saw at dinner last night that is a NASA RM regular.

Today I will be heading to the dyno to get some baseline power numbers.

Installed some minor upgrades like brake pads, bushing inserts, and lightweight battery over the weekend.

Hoping to get the suspension on this week and get it aligned, then first autocross Sunday!

We autox year round in Colorado, although less often during the winter months.

Here is the graph and power numbers, nearly identical to my 2013 FRS. Last image is the overlay of my stock 2013 FRS and the stock 2017 BRZ.

When do you plan on transferring mods over and doing another Dyno?

Not sure yet, I am still working with Shiv @ Openflash on the base tunes. I need the definition files first before I can dyno tune it with my tuner and the mods installed.

Video is up of the stock dyno pulls. All the suspension stuff is installed in the car and it is getting alignment/corner balance today. Should be running it for the first time Sunday.

Ran the BRZ in its first autocross last weekend. All went well, car felt really good. Mostly the same as the FRS but the power delivery is much better. No issues with the shorter 2nd gear and stock limiter, at least on that course. My tires are definitely done though (same ones I ran on the FRS all year) as I was not as competitive as I know I can be compared to others I drive with. Thinking the tires were a large part of my Nats traction problems

Anyways, car just has suspension stuff on it, no lightweight seats and engine is still bone stock, just has the OFT beta tune to smooth out torque dip.

I'll get a video up soon, but so far so good. Can't wait to get the engine parts on and bump the limiter up.
