I assembled the heads and mounted them today! Had to come up with a creative way to hold the valves in place while putting the springs on...

Looks amazing! What valve stem seals are those? Was the removal of the olds ones easy? and the installation?

I just got the shipping info for my IAG short block.

Old ones come off with plairs. They are GSC power division seals, installation is easy, but you need the right tool to seat the springs to the valves

Ordered some parts!
New pads and rotors, Verus cam plate, Verus hood vents, new timing cover (for the oil pump gear), AEM 340LPH fuel pump (even though I said I wouldn't).

My birthday is on the 30th so I took this and next week off, hopefully I'll have some progress to report! Also working on adopting a dog, so that's occupying some budget as well

Yeah you've been busy! Let's see it! Also, link your build in your signature so I don't need to go hunting each time I wanna see

Stuff came! Wife also got me a Porter Cable 7424XP as an early birthday gift I've been wanting one for at least the last 10 years but couldn't ever pull the trigger.

Also, bonus photo-

Nah. I'm not going to be tracking or anything, I don't want to fix something that isn't broken

But fixing something until it is broken is how you know you are a true enthusiast

It's slow and steady. Definitely not a priority in my life, but I make moves when I can!
