I've decided to give these a try (S2 compound) this season with an undersized 215/40R17.

I did that last year. Liked them and wore them out quickly. I did that size to see what lower gearing would feel like. Just had the car scrape a bit more with the lowering it caused!

What other modifications do you have? I'm prepping for SCCA D Street class so almost everything else will be stock.

Only thing I have that would affect the rubbing(scraping) I had would be Swift SpecR springs.

If anyone know where to get the v2 compound VR1 or RC1 tires in canada plz let me know. Every place I call or ask about either dont know which compound it is (and dont care to even verify), or its all the old stuff or worse, a mix of both.
