Khen,
Thanks! I somehow missed that TSB when I read through the thread. I'll talk to my dealer about having it applied. -Matt |

I haven't figured out how to thank on here yet but much thanks on the TSB. This exact problem happens to me maybe every 2-3 months but only in front of other people......gets funny looks.

I have a 2013 with 45k on it - push button start.
I just had to replace my battery with the recent cold snap. Battery didn't have the juice to turn it over. It wasn't completely dead - just didn't have the power. It had the stock battery in it, and learned that it only around 370 or so cold crank amps at best. My new one is over 700 and the car never fired up so quickly as it does now after sitting in the cold for a few days (my car is a 2nd car & not driven every day). Apparently, according to the AAA guy who came to my aid, he also owns an FRS & its a known thing that the stock battery sucks with these cars. |

with my car the engine cranks strongly so I don't think it's a battery problem. Also, the fact that it cranked right up on the second try leads me to believe there's something else going on.

That is exactly what mine was doing before the flash. Let us know if the TSB fixes it. |
