Its about time they got rid of genesis coupe. Sale number was just horrible. It sold less than 10 each month in korea and sold zero nada last month.
Test drove 2.0T couple years ago. Felt like driving faster sonata. Didn't feel sport at all. |

Ya they must have sold a pile of them around here. I see virtually no twins though so at even a 5 to 1 ratio we are talking maybe 2 or 3 a week. Could be simply the fact that we have a Hyundai dealer on every other block (or so it seems) and Scion was a 12 square foot section of the one Toyota dealer.

My guess they will bring out Genesis G50 or G60 with N performance to compete with luxury sports level (S5,M4,etc) and N performance version of elantra and veloster to compete with entry level sports cars.

Thats the idea..I hope. I hope its not the Luxo Barge they concepted a few months ago. While very pretty its as big as Bentley, and appointed as such. They hopefully will be bringing a Z fighter. Small-ish Coupe, 400+hp, keep it in the mid $30K.

To each is own obviously but the Challenger is like a rubbery, albeit quick Titanic. Really dont like that car at all. My friend has an SRT Hellcat, its a hoot but nothing Id like to DD on a long drive. Camaro...meh, drove last gen models and completely underwhelmed in them, including SS. Mustang, while fast was really very numb. My Genny 3.8, for me, you get the feel, weight, speed, cushion and tech, all wrapped up in 350 fun HP for $30K. Its a GREAT GT IMHO.
