Windscreen Chips from highway

Is there any possible way to get rid of those little surface windshield chips that make your windscreen look spotted from inside the car when the sun hits it? They are starting to annoy me and they aren't full on chips in the windscreen. I know this is very hard to explain and I'm probably not referencing it correctly but I'm curious as to if there are any ways to maintain our windscreens so they remain clear?

I know what you mean. My window is so bad I can almost not even see in the sun. I would say replace it to fix it, or put 3M on it. I put that sh*t on everything

If your deductible is low enough, your ins will replace it and there will be no going up on rates, because its not a moving violation. Atleast my insurance did for us. But everytime we fixed it, we'd get another. So we just live with it unless we get a crack outa one

Some of them aren't actually chips. Grab yourself a clay bar and do some claying. It's cheap enough that it's worth the shot.
I find most of the time that they're not actually chips but dipples from many different things.

This^
I put up with them for years on my cars until one day somebody said to do this. It doesn't get rid of everything but makes about an 80% difference. Most of what looks like really tiny chips is really just crap that won't wash off with a regular wash.
I use the below 3 or 4 times a year.
