i monkey hang my left arm on the top of the steering wheel and my right hand is usually sitting on my shifter.
Would i like an arm rest? probably. Have I cared that I dont have one? nope.

I'm fine without an armrest. If I'm not driving at 9 and 3, or shifting, then I just rest my arm on the handbrake. Personally, there's other things I'd rather spend money on than an armrest.

i think i know what your issue is - you're sitting backwards on the seat. try sitting facing forward with your LEFT arm on the driver side door - it'll be much more comfy.

Never noticed it wasn't there. My arms rest naturally no matter how they are and I'm always comfortable. I fit this car really well, I guess.

I also rest my hand on the e-brake. I feel like even if I had an armrest, I would still do this.

I used to rest my arm on the e-brake as well, but after having installed the arm rest, it is much comfier. I like the raw sports car feel of these cars, but miss some of the luxury features from my previous Lexus.

Like others have said I normally keep my right hand resting around the parking brake lever, and when cruising down the highway my left arm rests on that padded area by the window. If that feels to high you can always pump the seat up, but my seat is low and it feels okay, so personal choice I suppose.
No need for an arm rest IMO, especially since buying an armrest would take up the cup holders, and we all know how useful they are.

I actually Don't want one - at all.
I would take one for free just to sell it away. I find that if I store anything that sticks up too high back there my elbow bumps into it when I shift besides, It really is pretty comfortable without an armrest - brake/shifter/hard plastic/thighs/girl next to you/etc - it all works

I was too used to having one, I had to get one. I always had my elbow on top of the console in my old g35.
