My current average electric bill is $65/month. Of course, in the summer time, it can bump up to like $120~$150. In general, I’m hitting $40~$50/month. So in that concept, one gas fill-up is my monthly electric bill.

Can I afford this gas bill for my car? Yeah, just not sure it’s worth forking over. When I can get free charging at my work. Of course, EV will raise the electric bill, but go into $260~$300 monthly? IDK

i believe most ev's phone app also allow to set charging speed, and times-- you could easily charge for a low rate at home, enough to bump the charge enough to get where you need to go, then use the free charger to finish topping all the way off.

it's an entirely different way of route planning and coordination that i just don't care to do...

Yeah, def I agree. It’s an extra route planning… this is why I’m a bit hesitant to buy ev

Yeah, YouTube started rolling out a block on add blockers sometime in the past couple weeks.

Unfortunately, the Firefox work-around appears to have been worked-around. Started getting the notice on Firefox this evening.

Google needs to either pull back on the intrusive advertising or start pricing adfree YouTube reasonably.

jinxed it.

today I had to wake up Haru in the middle of his daytime nap to get going to my parents.

he was really upset and anxious about why i did that and was carrying a ton of his stuff out the door.

i realized i effed up when we were outside in the parking lot and suddenly he stopped walking and pulled back behind me and i felt the leash clatter to the ground.

i had mistakenly and stupidly clipped the leash to the AirTag keyring instead of the collar ring, and the AirTag ring opened too easily with the force of him backing up.

he would NOT listen to me to come back and i chased him through about 20 feet of bushes, finally was able to grab him as he went to pee on some bush.

that nearly gave me a heart attack holy crap.

Dang! I know Shibas are known to run… but my Shiba is lazy ass that, she doesn’t even bother to run, even give her a chance.

Daily when I come home from work, I keep the garage door open & open the house door to let her out. I don’t put harness & leash or anything, just let her roam by herself. While I get the mail, she goes to few neighbors yard & pee few times. When I whistle, she comes back & goes inside. We’ve been doing that since we moved into the new place (+2yrs ago). Yeah few times she goes more distance to pee, but when I whistle, she still comes back.

This is same when my parents watch her at their house.

It might be a good idea to train him to do leash-less to help you reduce an anxiety. Of course, a lot of trainer does not train Shiba due to they’re too stubborn lol

I mean he knows "come here" or "wait" or all those things. But when something gets into him like the anxiety thing or a distraction he goes full shiba and ignores me. But yeah would be nice to have an enclosed yard to practice in.

True...

Hate to break to the cartoonist though, this same conversation would happen between two Philosophers, it doesn't take an engineer. My undergrad degree is a BS in Philosophy (I had a Math minor resulting in the BS degree, only one to every graduate from my college with that as of last time I checked).

This discussion is the very essence of a good philosophical discussion.

My son and I brought our cart back from the lake. It is an old Yamaha G1 2-stroke. I think it is like a 1979. Interesting thing is the engine runs in both directions. It hasn't been running in about 7 years. Parts are getting pretty hard to get these days. We are hoping with the parts we have, and the two blocks I have, we can get her going again.

Slight misstep at today's HOA meeting. I asked a question at the wrong time and wound up President of said HOA. Do I tell my wife or try to keep it a secret?

Goodness exists for everyone, but it is not the same for everyone. Your goodness may very well be my definition of evilness, or at best mediocrity.
